Here's a Silvertone branded Teisco ET-460 Sharkfin, Made in Japan in the 60's in very good condition. These guitars were produced in the Teisco plant in Japan but some were sold through the sears catalog under the Silvertone brand as the 759-1437-1.
This guitar is a mahogany body with a sunburst finish. The neck is made from maple and has a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard. The neck also features a zero fret and plastic nut along with an adjustable truss rod. The guitar has an aluminum striped pickguard along with four square pole piece single coil pickups. Each of the pickups have individual on/off switches along with a master solo/rhythm switch. With two "Neck" pickups engaged they operate as a parallel-wired humbucker together, same with the two "Bridge" pickups. The Sharkfin also features an adjustable saddle bridge along with a tremolo tailpiece.
The scale length is 24 3/4" with a 12" radius and a 1 5/8" nut width
