Here's 1963 St. George/Bartell XK-150 Spyder, Made in the U.S. in good condition. This guitar has wear and chips in the finish from play and aging. Also has some orange glitter paint in the side routes from a previous owner please note in the photos above. A rare guitar made in California from the 60's. Bartell was founded by Paul Barth, a pioneer in electric guitars and co-inventor of the first pickup. Barth worked with National, Rickenbacker, Magnatone, and Mosrite before starting Bartell in 1962 in Riverside, California.
Similar to the Mosrite guitars of the time, this guitar also has it own unique features. The guitar has a German curve, a Zero Fret with a metal nut, Pearl white paint, Kluson tuners, single coil pickups, and a tremolo bridge.
