This early '50s Silvertone H3 Lap Steel Guitar is a true gem, blending vintage charm with exceptional sound. Branded under the Sears Silvertone name, this beauty was crafted by the legendary Harmony company, and these models first appeared in the late '40s into the early '50s. The body, made of poplar, is dressed in a stunning, eye-catching yellow finish that is beautifully complemented by elegant tortoise binding and a tortoise fretboard, giving it a classy, vintage vibe.
But the real magic happens with its '40s Gibson P13 pickup, which gives this lap steel its soul. A predecessor to the iconic P90, the P13 provides a raunchy, yet smooth tone. It's got that P90 grit, but with a slightly more laid-back character that is perfect for a range of genres. Whether you're diving into blues, rock, or Hawaiian-style riffs, this guitar offers a unique and irresistible tone that's perfect for any player seeking both style and substance in their sound.
