The 2006 Gretsch Round Up Western Leather Trim (Model 6130) is a striking Japanese-made reissue that revives Gretsch’s iconic 1950s Western-themed electric guitar. Finished in Western Orange with distinctive tooled leather trim, this model features engraved Western-motif fingerboard inlays, bold graphics, and luxurious gold-plated hardware that perfectly capture the spirit of the original.
Its chambered mahogany body paired with a knotty pine/mahogany top delivers a lively, resonant tone with excellent balance and sustain. The mahogany neck and bound rosewood fingerboard offer a comfortable, substantial feel, with a 12” radius, 24 ¾” scale length, and 1.68” nut width that make it equally inviting for rhythm and lead work.
Equipped with dual Dynasonic single-coil pickups, this Round Up produces a bright sound. The guitar is fitted with a Bigsby bridge and distinctive belt-buckle Western tailpiece, providing classic Gretsch style and expressive vibrato capability. Grover Sta-Tite tuners ensure stable, reliable tuning. This instrument weighs 7 lbs 10.7 oz and is in 100% original condition, with no modifications or repairs.
