The 2006 Fender American Vintage Reissue Jazzmaster is a faithful recreation of the original 1962 model—just like the one famously used by Chris Stapleton. The alder body is finished in a rich 3-tone sunburst, complemented by a maple neck and slab rosewood fretboard with a 7.25" vintage radius and 21 frets. The neck features a comfortable mid-'60s "C" profile, while the Mustang-style bridge upgrade adds improved stability without sacrificing the floating tremolo’s expressive range. A pair of vintage-style Jazzmaster single-coils deliver warm, articulate tones—full of the glassy highs and mellow mids that define the Jazzmaster sound. The lead/rhythm circuit remains intact, giving you a wide range of tonal possibilities with just a flick of a switch.
