Up for sale we have a 1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom in excellent condition. Serial number is 70128513. This guitar features a solid mahogany body with with a cherry sunburst finish (there is slight discoloration on the neck). It has a slip taper neck with ebony fingerboard. The nut width is 1.69" while the 1st fret is 0.78" and the 12th is 0.98". The scale is 24 3/4" and there are 22 frets. There are mother of pearl inlays for the position markers and headstock. There are two T-top pickups with a two way switch and 4 control knobs. The tuning pegs and hardware are metallic gold coloring. There is slight pitting on the tuners. The volume potentiometer has been replaced but everything else is original.
