Here’s a rare 1969 Dobro DM33 —converted left-handed, nickel-plated, bell-brass resonator guitar that delivers that unmistakable metallic punch and vintage Dobro tone. This model features a beautifully aged nickel finish with etched floral engraving.

The maple neck with rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth playing experience, and with 25" scale length makes this Dobro well-suited for both fretted playing and slide work.

Whether you're exploring Delta blues, folk, or country stylings, this resonator responds with rich overtones and crisp projection.

At just over 9 lbs, the DM33 has a satisfying weight and feel, while the bell-brass body adds sustain and a bold voice. This guitar has been setup by our in-house luthier with action at  3.5 mm at the 12th fret, ideal for both fingerpicking and slide.

There is minor wear in the nickel consistent with age, adding a tasteful patina and character. There is also wear from a guitar hanger on both sides of the headstock. Please refer to our photos, and feel free to ask us any questions about the cosmetic condition of this instrument. Condition is as-described.
