This is a 1966 Martin D-18 in mint condition ( a true closet queen). It has a spruce top and Mahogany back and sides. The bridge, fingerboard, and headplate are of Brazilian Rosewood. The Brazilian rosewood bridge sits flush with the top on all edges, fitted with a tall carved bone saddle and retaining its original small maple bridge plate which has been reinforced with an additional strip of maple The bridge features the drop-in style saddle that was new to 1966. The tuners, nut, bridge, saddle, black pick guard are all original. The headstock features a Brazilian rosewood veneer on the face, with a clean Martin logo and original set of pat. pending Grover Rotomatic tuning machines with bright chrome plating. The Natural finish is 100% original with no touchup or overspray
