Here is a very clean and studio ready Kay built Silvertone branded 658 Archtop that has had a full restoration in our shop. The neck has been reset, it has had the fingerboard leveled and has been refretted with Jescar fret wire. The original budget tuners have been replaced with new Kluson 3 on a plate tuners, the nut has been replaced with a new handcut bone nut, and the tailpiece has been replaced for a more heavy duty vintage Hagstrom tailpiece found on higher end Kays.
This guitar is now ready for serious play in the studio or on stage!
