Here we have a 1964 Silvertone Jupiter 1423 for sale in very good condition. The body has a Les Paul look-alike shape with a black finish and speckled with gold color. This guitar has a spruce top and back with maple sides. The semi-solid (it is hollow with no sound holes) design paired with those growly DeArmond pickups made for a great sounding guitar, with a boatload of control. In addition to separate volume and tone controls for each pickup, the guitar features a “blend” knob that alters the balance between the two pickups when the selector is in the middle position creating an almost 'Wah pedal' tone when dialed back and forth.The fingerboard is ebony with a scale length of 24 1/4". There are 20 frets. The width of the bone nut is 1 3/4". This guitar has an adjustable bridge.
