Here we have a 1936-39 Gibson A1 Mandolin in very good condition. The serial number is 219A. Please notice the wear on the front of the body. It has original sunburst finish and hardware, Adirondack spruce top with F holes, flamed dark stained maple back, sides and neck, white script silkscreened "Gibson" peghead logo. This mandolin has the original earlier style tailpiece cover. The scale length is 14" and there are 20 frets. This instrument has been set up by our in-house luthier and is ready for stage/recording!
